My first real football goal was in my first year of Elementary School in the north countryside of Portugal. I was 6 and I wasted at least 1 minute of my 15 fame! Short, very blond (or maybe not) with big blue eyes and ears always with my head on Venus. Very difficult to take into the bath. Still aqua phobic and hypochondriac. N-polar.
At about 14, my beard started to grow and I got taller, maybe someone can get some relation there (I can’t), but I was feeling older and good. Experiences in Church Education, Sports and thoughts on Military Carrier soon went away with Nietzsche and dreams of Scandinavia Winters.
After a long breathe, I chose Computer Science instead of Mathematics or Arts. A first shy year of studies living alone and taking care of cats and fishes made my life a strange experience for some months; but at last the whiskey caught me. More or less successful studies in Computer Science, I moved to Amsterdam in late January 2009 to finish my Bachelor. Music, books, walks, water, bohemian life across Europe for some time. Short research position at the Science Park, Universiteit van Amsterdam, after one year of Junior Research at the Universidade do Minho; and graduate studies both in Amsterdam and now at Utrecht Universiteit.
Moved to Toronto in March 2010. Being self-sustained since March 2010 (after 21 years), I haven’t felt so money greedy since I wanted to buy my first computer; I believe it’s the North America effect or just New Zealand coming.
If you are interested in learning Portuguese or Computer Science boring material in exchange of a place to live and food somewhere, I would gladly move to your place. In my free time I try to learn more mathematics, music theory and origami beside the rest that everyone likes to do (reading, traveling and writing love letters). I have glasses but I don’t wear them, because they aren’t cool enough. I like my father’s hat though.
My life goal is to become a madman (they aren’t boring), or a deep sea sailor with an authentic mustache (a bird is required). I would also like to be a long-term friend of an active prostitute, an educated one though (still haven’t got the courage to approach them but my close friends know that I thought about it many times). If I was an animal I would like to be a junkie monkey or a yellow polar bear but I ain’t that hairy so a pink rap parrot would do it as well.
All these words could be resumed to: A random Joseph.
A random Joseph… =)
